The
purpose of this one-day event is to demonstrate the direct
relationship of curricular subject areas to life skills and
career opportunities after high school. All speakers will be presenting at New Trier on Thursday,
April 17, 2008.
Speakers
will be asked to give a presentation, lead a discussion, or
address a topic of the teacher's preference during the majority
of the class period. The speaker will discuss a personal career
path that led to this profession the final 10-15 minutes of the
period and answer any questions.
